Classic Punto Banco, Speed Baccarat, Squeeze tables and Lightning Baccarat — all under one roof at av999. HD-streamed live dealers, PKR deposits from Rs 200 and withdrawals processed in minutes. This is baccarat done right for Pakistani players.
Baccarat has a certain reputation — it's the card game you see played in high-end casinos in James Bond films, with big stacks of chips and serious faces around a green-felt table. But here's the truth: baccarat is actually one of the simplest casino card games you can play, and it has one of the best player odds of any table game anywhere. In Asia particularly, it's the number-one casino game, and Pakistani players who've been introduced to it through av999 quickly understand why.
At av999, we've built our baccarat section around what Pakistani players actually want: clear rules, fair odds, live dealers who stream in high definition, and everything transacted in Pakistani Rupees without conversion fees or awkward currency hurdles. Whether you're sitting down at a baccarat table for the first time with Rs 500 or you're a seasoned player looking for a VIP squeeze table with higher limits, av999 has the right seat for you.
The live baccarat experience on av999 is powered by some of the industry's best studio software. You get genuine human dealers — not animated characters, not RNG simulations with a dealer skin over them. Real people, real cards, real-time dealing, streamed in HD to your phone or desktop. The camera angles are sharp, the card shuffle is visible, and the roadmap displays (Big Road, Bead Plate, Big Eye Boy) update automatically so you can follow the patterns as they develop across each shoe.
For players who prefer to move at their own pace rather than match the speed of a live table, av999 also offers a strong selection of RNG baccarat titles. These run on certified random number generators and let you pause, think and bet without any time pressure. Great for learning the game before committing to a live table, and popular with players who prefer a quieter, solo experience.
The variety of baccarat tables on av999 goes well beyond the basic Punto Banco format. From the quick-fire pace of Speed Baccarat to the theatre of Squeeze tables, from Dragon Tiger side bets to the multiplier excitement of Lightning Baccarat, there's a genuine range of experiences available. Pakistani players new to the game can start at the lowest-limit tables and build their confidence before exploring the premium variants.
Baccarat often looks complicated from the outside but it really isn't. There are only three betting options and the dealer handles all the card decisions. Here's how a round plays out on av999:
Two Hands Are Dealt: The Banker hand and the Player hand each receive two cards at the start of every round. You're not playing your own hand — you're betting on which side you think will win.
Card Values: Cards 2–9 are worth their face value. Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth zero. Aces count as one. The hand value is the last digit of the total — so a 7 and a 6 (total 13) equals a hand value of 3.
Natural Win: If either hand totals 8 or 9 from the first two cards, it's called a Natural and the round ends immediately. No third cards are drawn.
Third Card Rules: If neither hand hits a Natural, a third card may be drawn according to fixed rules — the player draws on 0–5, the banker draws based on their total and the player's third card. You don't need to memorise these; the dealer on av999 handles it automatically.
Closest to 9 Wins: Whichever hand has a value closest to 9 wins. If you bet on the winning side, you collect your payout. If you bet on Tie and both hands equal the same value, you win at higher odds — though Tie has a much higher house edge.
That's genuinely all there is to it. Once you understand the card values and the three betting positions (Banker, Player, Tie), you can sit down at any table on av999 and follow the action immediately. The rest is strategy — and we'll cover that below.

Baccarat is one of the lowest house-edge casino games available on av999. Here's the exact payout structure for each betting position so you know exactly what you're getting into:
| Bet | Payout | House Edge | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banker Win | 1:1 (minus 5% commission) | 1.06% | Best bet on the table |
| Player Win | 1:1 | 1.24% | No commission |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.4% | High risk, rarely recommended |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.4% | Side bet |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.4% | Side bet |
| Dragon Bonus | Up to 30:1 | Varies | Win by natural or large margin |
| Lightning Multiplier | Up to 512x | Varies | Lightning Baccarat only |
The Banker bet at av999 has a house edge of just 1.06% — that's among the best odds of any casino game anywhere. If you're new to baccarat, sticking to Banker and Player bets is always the smartest approach.
Every baccarat table on av999 displays multiple road maps — visual records of past results that help you track patterns in the shoe. Here's a quick explanation of the three most common ones:
Big Road: The primary road — records each result in a column that changes when the winning side switches. The most straightforward pattern display on av999 tables.
Bead Plate: A simple grid that lists every result in order, filled left to right. The quickest way to see the recent history of a shoe at a glance.
Big Eye Boy & Small Road: Derived roads that track repeating patterns and chaos within the shoe. Experienced baccarat players on av999 use these to try to identify "choppy" vs "streaky" shoes.
Important to note: road maps record past results only. In baccarat, each hand is independent and past results don't guarantee future outcomes. The maps are useful for spotting the feel of a shoe, but they don't change the fundamental odds on av999.
There's no strategy in baccarat that can overcome the house edge over millions of hands — that's the honest truth. But smart play can maximise your enjoyment and minimise unnecessary losses at av999. Here's what experienced baccarat players actually do:
Bet Banker Almost Always: The Banker bet at av999 has the lowest house edge of any bet in the game. Even after the 5% commission, it's still the statistically superior choice over the long run.
Avoid the Tie Bet: The Tie pays 8:1 which looks attractive, but a 14.4% house edge makes it one of the worst bets in any casino. Treat it as entertainment, not strategy.
Set a Win Target and Loss Limit: Before sitting at any table on av999, decide how much you're willing to lose and a realistic profit target. When you hit either, step away.
Flat Betting Over Progressive Systems: Martingale and other doubling systems can look good on paper but can wipe out a bankroll quickly during a losing streak. Flat betting on av999 is more sustainable.
Use Free Play First: av999 offers RNG baccarat in demo mode. Use it to get comfortable with the pace and betting interface before moving to live tables.
